Reconstruction of a find from Vize,Türkiye. This helmet was raised from brass sheet and adorned with repousse decoration using time-consuming and skillful ancient techniques. The helmet depicts a head wearing an oak-leaf crown, cheek plates embossed on the face mask that feature Nike and martial trophies. The brow depicts Scylla destroying a ship and pursuing its sailors. The neck guard is adorned with floral scrolls.
