A Roman helmet of the 3rd C AD with several distinctive features, including depictions of mice and loaves of bread as sheet appliques, a fancy carrying handle with acorns terminals on the neck guard, a lathe-spun dome on the top with a carrying ring, and an internal neck guard, only the first lame of which remains on the original helmet, and decorative brass edging throughout.
