Acid Etching Workshop
October 14, 2017 9 AM – 5 PM
class size of 3-5 (spots still available!)
Acid etching isn’t just interesting for its use in historical armour decoration and intaglio printmaking, it is a surprisingly accessible decorative technique that can be set up for at home.
Learn the basics of decorative metal etching in a one-day hands-on workshop. Test a variety of different techniques, metals and acid solutions, and leave with a plaque, medallion or pendant.
Great for making a unique gift, the course can also be a gift itself – send or bring someone who would enjoy learning a traditional skill.
All materials, lunch and refreshments will be included.
